The Lake County Fair Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that produces the annual Lake County Fair; all contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. We are self-supporting and do not fall under the direct funding of any municipal, county, or state government. Proceeds generated by our events, such as the Food Truck Festival and the Lake County Fair, are reinvested into our educational programs and the maintenance and development of the fairgrounds. We rely heavily on corporate sponsorships to help finance the cost of producing our events, and fund our educational mission. The Lake County Fair Association awarded over $22,000 in 2023 to Illinois youth through premiums & scholarships.
